new stuff

Hello! Finally, I am able to update this space because there has been developments on my art journey. On a whim, I got some of my illustrations printed on canvas bags. I didn't know people would be interested to buy them because I actually got them made for me and my canvas bag addiction. LOL.

So, I also updated the Facebook page I made three years ago for my drawings and paintings. I am glad the response is also positive. I don't know where this is headed but I am enjoying the process.

I made a preorder period for the bags and just closed it last Friday. As of the moment, the bags are in production and I am so thankful to the people who ordered and like my art style. I am beyond happy and motivated! There is nothing like the feeling of seeing your work being made into products.

Also, I haver been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons on the Switch for a few days and I am so addicted. I am thinking of making stickers/illustrations/ designs based on the game. What do you think?

I am now in the process of making new designs and thinking of other products that might be of interest to you. Any products or designs you'd like me to make next?

Hi! I am Joana--a mother of two who loves to draw.

I started this blog to share my journey and love for art.

I started drawing when I was a kid: dinosaurs, landscapes, Disney characters--and then anime and manga when I was a teenager. Funnily, I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts but didn't really spend time drawing what I like. Then I had a desk job which eliminated any free time I could draw. I started to make time for doing art when I became a stay at home mom. It's not easy to carve time out for this but I make it possible because I love it.

I hope this little space I create will inspire you to make art and never give up on the things you love.
